Holter Dam is a big one. I placed it first in a sequence of three places—first you drive Holter Dam road to the dam on the western side of the river, Holter Dam, then return on that road to the Wolf Creek Bridge, where you cross to the Eastern bank of the river, then South on Beartooth Road to the Holter Lake resorts and beaches.
The flow was modest at the dam, but it holds back the waters of a huge lake.
