This spectacular dam is at the southern end of Flathead Lake, which is found just South of Kalispell, Montana, outside the western border of Glacier National Park.
I’ll put Flathead Lake in its own gallery, as it has a number of videos.
As an aside, a woman who lives near the map told me that she had never seen the water this vivid color.
