Elephant Butte Lake and Dam, and the Rio Grande
This is presented in three sections: The lake, the Dam and its namesake rock formation, then the out flowing Rio Grande. Both Elephant Butte Lake and its neighbor Caballo Lake, were formed by damming the Rio Grande.

I found a nice spot to fly the drones at a bend in the river with a bridge and a pleasant view in both directions. Across the bridge is a campground and picnic facility.
