This small lake is just outside of Farmington, New Mexico, by the side of a busy road heading east toward the other lakes in this collection. In March the Winter is always near, and the early mornings are fit only for dedicated fishermen—of whom there were several, all bundled up) when I arrived.
Like the other lakes, these serve not only as crucial water supply but are platforms for parks which allow boating, fishing and picnicking.. Being this close to Farmington, I’d suspect that it is jammed with people on Summer weekends. They were nowhere to be seen in mid-March, understandably.
