I first encountered Ship Rock when I drove over the Lukachukai Mountains to get from Four Corners on the Arizona/New Mexico border to Mesa Verde in Colorado. I wanted to return with a proper drone from that moment.
At 1,800 feet in height, it is a colossal presence on the flat surrounding desert.
Not only that, the approach roads are rutted dirt, and not particularly hospital to vehicles. Still, if you persevere you can get quite close.
On a calm, sunny day I managed to get in two very productive launches, each with a different lens. With such a massive formation, the wide-and lens did best, capturing the formation and its surrounding terrain.
