8 Heceta Head Lighthouse

Driving North up the coast toward Newport, the Heceta Head Beach and lighthouse are a pleasant stop.

 As you will see in my videos, the fog was swirling just out beyond the lighthouse, and I flew in and out of it—sometimes affecting the quality of the imagery.

The fog affects the amount of sunlight reaching the camera’s sensor, resulting in brighter and darker periods in some of my videos. I noticed it especially here and at Bandon Beach.

Still, this lighthouse is in a picture postcard setting, and I got as much of that quality as I could.
