Aerial Photography Using Drones

Angostura is a large reservoir some 50 miles South of Rapid City. On my first attempt to video it; a 21 square mile forest fire produced a pall of smoke, which obscured the views.

Fortunately, My route back toward home passed within a few miles of Angostura, so I stopped in for another try. This time, the skies and air were clear, and I did some survey flights. I also flew from the high observation hill some 3,500 feet down and across to view the big dam more closely.
