Escalante 2021 with California Wildfire Smoke
I enjoyed a visit to Escalante (Gallery below this one) in 2015 when I was a new drone pilot and somewhat timid. The opportunity to return with a bigger drone and much more experience was irresistible.
So please take the two trips together as my salute to Escalante!
In these videos you will note that some are plagued with smoke, while others aren’t. During my stay, some days had particularly bad smoke from California’s fires, so I would repeat those sites a day or two later. Hope you enjoy the selection.
