Colorado River below Dead Horse PointAfter you complete the descent from Shafer Trail, you arrive at the overlook just below the visiting area at Dead Horse Point.
The view from Dead Horse Point is blocked by stone formations, but the view from the lower ledge is sensational!
Then we proceed over to the potash evaporating ponds seen in one of these photos.
The dirt road leads to Potash Road, bringing us past the Jug Handle Arch, seen here!
