2016 Sure Fire Multi-Gun Championships
Final Stage ~ Shootoff Stage

The weather rapidly darkened as the leading shooters in the classes (open, tactical, ladies, etc.) shot it at the end of the third day. I used the video editor to brighten things a bit, because the light was very weak.

A new scoring system was designed to mute the impact of one malfunction or one poor stage. So, final standings were changing right up to each shooter's performance in this stage.

All the marbles were on the table, because the score each shooter earned on this high-value stage might significantly change their standings among the other top shooters.

As always, I tried not to have the drone intrude on the shooters' concentration during this all-important finale. As a final note: please remember that every one of this group of shooters came in among the top few in their class in the main match. That was how they qualified to shoot this final stage. This event was the grand finale. High stakes for every finalist!

The first video is a slow aerial tour of this stage, showing the various target sets.  There are a dozen clay pigeons to begin with shotgun; a rack of steel to the far left and again on the far right for rifle, and a set of targets for pistol to conclude.
