Day 1-Thursday
Check in to the Righa Cairns Colonial Club (or similar hotel), an excellent resort style hotel in a tropical setting (rooms may not be available until 2pm). Enjoy a day relaxing and discovering Cairns.
Day 2-4 Fri-Sun
7.00 am briefing and transfer to vessel.
Cruise and dive the entire chain of Ribbon Reefs en route to the Cod Hole and Lizard Island. Includes complimentary Reef Ecology Program.
Day 5-Mon
Spectacular reef flight from Lizard Island to Cairns plus a half day relaxing at the Righa Cairns Colonial Club (or similar hotel).
Day 6-Tues
A very energetic day of white water rafting with "Raging Thunder"on the Tully River. In a separate day bag please bring lace-up shoes (runners) swimming costume, complete change of clothes, towel, sunscreen - leave your jewellery, watch and camera packed in your luggage. Between rapids your guide will educate you on the surrounding rainforest's flora and fauna. Includes a barbecue lunch and afternoon snack. 7.00pm arrive in Townsville. Meet other guests at the Quarterdeck on the Marina Hotel. Evening meal at own expense. 8.00pm Board Spoilsport.
Day 7-13 -Wed-Tues
Explore rarely dived reefs along the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Dip Bowl and Myrmidon Reefs offer pristine coral gardens with excellent fish life and big animal encounters. Cruise 100 miles beyond the Continental shelf where the the deep clear water of the Coral Sea's remote oceanic reefs harbour Australia's best deep wall diving. World Renowned Flinders Reef sites include Watenabe Pinnacle, Scuba Zoo shark frenzy and the Gigantus Gorgonus fan coral measuring 16 ft (5 m) across.
Seasonal exploratory trips to Herald Cays, Dart, Abington & Malay Reef.

Overnight at the Centra Townsville, a four star hotel in the city centre.

Check out of the Centra Townsville. Depart Townsville (own arrangements).
