General Information

TRUE NORTH is powered by two V16, MTU main engines with a cruising speed of up to 18 knots and the internal communications network pipes real time navigation data, communication and entertainment channels to the Saloon area.

TRUE NORTH includes its own onboard private helicopter to allow you to discover vast unexplored tracts of the rugged Kimberley from your own personal vantage point. Because of the sheer scale and remoteness of the Kimberley region many of its spectacular features have been inaccessible ... until now.

The new
TRUE NORTH is currently under construction in Fremantle, Western Australia. Exhaustive sea trials will be conducted in the 1999 New Year in readiness for the cruising season which runs from March till December. The vessel will comply to all statutory regulations applying to long range voyages with 30 passengers and 8 crew.
