2 Valley Of The Gods
Southern Utah Summer 2018On my earlier visits to Monument Valley, I have done a bit of exploring at the Valley of the Gods, which lies about forty miles North of Monument Valley.

Where Monument Valley is developed for tourism, with a hotel, truck rides and vendor stands at every stop, the Valley of the Gods is undeveloped and deserted. My kind of place.
Other notable attractions very close to this valley are Natural Bridges National Monument, Bears Ears, Goosenecks State Park and an immense escarpment which hosts the amazing Moki Dugway road built for moving Uranium ore and Muley Point which looks down on Goosenecks.
